    This is a very good book about all the wartime fieldpost letter designs. Well worth the read:
    Collect Russia <b>"USSR Folded Letters [and Envelopes] of 1941-1945, Price Guide"</b>, V Zagorskiy, C 2008, St Petersburg. Soviet Russian

    Yes, it's Kyrgyzstan. "КССР" means "Киргизская Советская Социалистическая Республика" (Kirghiz Soviet Socialist Republic)
    The card was sent to Tehran office of the American Joint Distribution Committee.
