But the helmet is really heavy one, and that kind of helmets was really used as a combat. I did show sometime ago this helmet here, with battle damages, and the picture where this helmet being worn by combat troops. Most of this helmets was found in the positions near the Leningrad, at the Nevskiy Pyatachok

Are Your sure these helmets are of Russian production? Similar helmets were used in Estonian army and many weapons, uniforms etc. were used in 1941 by Red Army.
