Looks like a Guards 2nd Lt. with an Order of the Red Star and a Medal for Battle Merit on a quadro suspension. Reverse: To my beloved boy Shura from aunt Luyda. September 15th, 1946.

the photo of the BRITISH corespondent checking the papers of the TRAFFIC POLICE WOMAN, I have noticed that she is wearing GERMAN ammo pouches and what seams to be a MOD. 38 CARBINE instead of a MOD, 1944 CARBINE? will GERMAN ammo pouches work with RUSSIAN AMMO i them in clips, or were the ammo carried loose in them?
