    But there is only one option, and that is NOT the man from your soldier book.
    The other "Доренко Николай Иванович" was Sr.Lt. of army service corps in 1944. He was in RKKA since 1935. A different man.

    EDIT:
    I can see I specified his unit wrongly as "612 rifle regiment". The correct unit is "61 Guards rifle regiment".
    Unfortunately, there is still no trace of his I can find. Maybe his award register card could give something, but I am in doubt.

    Here is yet again a Russian ID-book. Any help with the text is most welcome!
    It was hard to scan the ID-book. It was sewn together. The ID-book is from 1944.

    Private STEBULIJA Sergej Vladimirovich (Стебуля Сергей Владимирович), born 1923.
    231 reserve rifle regiment, 3 rifle battalion, 7 company.
    The military book is signed by the company commander on 10 august 1944.
    Nationality: Belorussian.
    Drafted on 07/08/1944.
    Civil speciality before draft: I believe he was a gold miner (not 100% sure though).

    Mother's name Yakutovich Klasa Vasilievna. Town Minsk region, village ???

    Service:
    231 reserve rifle regiment from 10/Aug/1944.
    879 rifle regiment frim 15/Aug/1944.

    Some clothes items given out.

    STEBULIJA's service ended on 19 September 1944, when during an engagement near Riga city he was severely wounded in his left leg rendering his leg dysfunctional.
    In June 1945, he was retrospectively awarded medal "For Bravery" for his service and wounds.

    There are no entries on weapons.
    The weapon items come from page 11, which is missing in this book.
