This is one of my Grandfather's log books from his career in the USMC. He was a graduate of the Naval Academy and an ace in the Pacific flying the Corsair. Some of his possessions have found there way to me. There are a total of four log books this one from the WW2 period and these two pages show five of the eight kills he is given credit for. I know only a few stories about him which I will tell if anyone is interested. The log books span 1938 to the 1960s covering his Korean service as well. There is not much info about him other than basics but i would love to know of any other info or sources about him or is unit. thanks JH
I also notice in the pilot and passenger boxes is the name Swett is this the famous J Swett?
I know one story about him and P Boyington that was told to me if anyone is interested.
