Another mystery photo from my French side of the family. Two unidentified sailors on the deck of the protected cruiser Destrées. Note the large gun! I looked it up and it was built in 1899 and scrapped in 1922. It displaced 2,460 tons and saw action in WWI in the Mediterranean, protected the Suez canal and helped evacuate folks from the Armenian genocide. Any other details about those on board or the ship would be welcome. NH
