Bom, eu estava achando que a primeira foto fosse da Guerra de Secessão Americana. Já a segunda, penso que é da guerra do Paraguai.

Hello! What "smart a**" means? (I know what "a**" means, but not "smart a**"). I think that if he was in the Civil war, probably he went to the front. And I forgot to say that on the back of this photo, is written: Post Card. Means that the photo was taken in England or US.
