Nice find Roger. Love the quaint illustrations of hand signals. Just needs new captions by Thelwell or Brockbank or Giles. I have an old army camouflage manual which brings to mind some Monty Python skits.

Nice license. These are not that common, I've only come across a couple in my collecting career. Your example was printed in 1942, but I suspect the illustrations date from the 1920s. This is my example:
