They certainly had courage and the "Balls" that this generation lacks.. I doubt we will ever see again such dedication as during WW 2.. There are some today though.. But a rare breed in these times.. G

What a great story. As you said, it does sound like a scene out of the movie "Fury". I notice they held the crossroads until day light, that would have been several hours.
