My favourite poster

Looks good.
There is some great poster art from the period.

I have the two following books, which I heartedly recommend, if further interested in the subject.

'Propaganda - The Art Of Persuasion: World War II' by Anthony Rhodes. 320 pages (this one is about both Alled and Axis propaganda)
&
'Kunst Und Propaganda in Der Wehrmacht - Gemälde und Grafiken aus dem Russlandkrieg' by Veit Veltzke. 255 pages.

that´s an interesting observation!!! But I think it was made on purpose, kind of a thing WWI war veterans on the homefront in in the U.S could relate to at the time.

Yes, you may be right.
The poster was made in 1944 so the 1939-EK ribbon had been around for 5 years already and I dont think the maker (Stevan Dohanos) would have missed that.

But it is a lovely poster, straight forward and the bright red really gets your attention. You are very lucky to have a original piece.

Thanks Luke, it really stuck to me when I saw an original for the first time as a kid. The place was "The Imperial War Museum in London England"
