Article about: Here are some photos of my father in Europe (not 100% sure of which cities or countries in these photos) He was there from 1944 to the end in 1946. He is shown in a couple with a good friend

    Here are some photos of my father in Europe (not 100% sure of which cities or countries in these photos)
    He was there from 1944 to the end in 1946.

    He is shown in a couple with a good friend of his from here in town. It was weird how they ended up in the same branch and together.

    The first three are with him and his friend(s)

    This one is "possibly" from FT Knox or Camp Phillip Morris.

    Excellent pic's! I can't make out the patch on his shoulder. What Unit was your Father Attached to?

    He was a tank driver in the 702nd (armored ?) attached to / with the 80th infantry

    Here is a loose one which is the same as the patch that is on 3 of his jackets he has from then.

    Also, he is the shorter of the 2 guys in the one photo standing next to each other, and his shoulders really aren't visible.
