Markings on British and Commonwealth Bayonets

Lovely scabbard..the brown version is rather scarce. Its possibly a quillon removed version? it lacks the oil hole.
Looks to be 3rd Battalion Welch Regiment stamped on the pommel.
Scabbard has markings also.
Really nice piece. No oil hole is present in the pommel. I believe the oil holes were added post ww1, so your bayonet is complete and not messed with. Would love to have this in my collection, enjoy it!
According to Howard Williamson's The Collector & Researchers Guide to the Great War Vol. II, the quillons were removed from 20/10/13. Those returned for conversion before 1916 and providing they weren't later re-inspected, didn't have an oil hole drilled.
He goes on to say that bayonets manufactured in 1915 which weren't re-inspected after 1915 have no oil hole.
