    hi,i have it as the guy next day it to me it looks much better inperson! yeah ,that part we may realy never know unless there are some period pictures of it worn on the belt?maybe vet done or period eith way its no big deal,the bigest thing is i have the knife and the scabbard its self is a plus with or with out the two hook things..i should have bought the last one i seen at one of my astate auctions,..but i decided to buy junk..oh well ,it still hurts but getting better..as long as these are real iam way ok with them..i would even have taken it with out scabbard...thanks so much and always nice to here from you..

    hi everyone,i just noticed that there is a very very light scratched on the knife on one side R.G. WEST LAKE what would that meen?anything to do with the war you think?thanks
