British bayonet, I think?

Article about: It's 1860's-1870's era. ( The woman who said 'WWII or Korea' doesn't know much - if anything - about militaria ! ) I believe there's a clamp missing from the muzzle ring.........

    Thank for the post Steve. Yes when I was finished I had come to that conclusion that she know nothing about militaria. Sadly you are right there is a ring missing . I am happy to hear that you think it's 1860-1870's ear!
