Cool
Thanks for that Rob.

That's in great shape. I might have to start looking for more unit marked blades, adds more to the flavor of each
Another British Bayonet.
Top: An Elcho for the Martini Henry.
Bottom: It's fake, probably made in India.
They look like machetes. Serious steel there. Makes one think about how the bayonet charge meant something, and why the Brits were so well known for them. I have to start looking at the older ones I think
Some Martini Bayonets:
1) Pat. 1860 Bushed
2) Elcho
3) Pat. 1875
4) Pat. 1887 Mk.I
5) Pat. 1887 Mk.III
6) Pat. 1887 Mk.IV
7) Pat. 1853 Bushed
8) Pat. 1876
9) Pat. 1895
10) Pat. 1871
11) Pat. 1879
12) Pat. 1888
Wow, I never realized there were so many for the Martini rifles. I think I know what my next project is going to be lol Very impressive Terry, that's a lovely collection
