    Hi,can anyone help me on this to tell me if its real or re-pro?and the value on it...? It has on scabbard .. Mfd by bomar corp . Pittsburgh .pa ..THE THING is heavy well it has some weight to it,the guy said it was a U.S WW2 diveing knife? it looks to shiny ?well i need some good news today as the day is going bad so far!! tonight is aution night and i got this and tonight at the astate sale i might get a few more things.....please be real and worth more then i paid!!

    its hard to take the picture.. I seen one very close to mine with leather strap for $450 ...

    Pammy, got some info on your diving knife.
    usmilitaryknives.com has your knife listed as a "MkV DESCO Knife"

    Pammy,
    Found out some more info. The MkV DESCO Knife is a "Hard Hat Divers Knife". They were made by quite a few companies, from about 1929. Desco still make this knife.

    Probably a modern piece, because I think earlier types
    had unplated brass sheaths. It sure looks 'new'.
