Help need to identify British Dagger

I am a collector of German WWII militaria though i have had a wwii British dagger given to me.
All i know is that the owner was in the navy during WWII
On the scabbard there is a C.W embossed on the top, then on the reverse there are numbers 1338B and 8828A embossed
Please can someone tell me more about his knife and it value and i would be very grateful

Very nice gift, wish it was mine.
Not only the Dutch army used them, but after the capitulation of Holland, the germans used them as "beutewaffen".

It's a Dutch war-time fighting knife. Yours looks to be in great condition. They are Very collectable and generally carry a fine value.
