identify bayonet

Please help me to identify a bayonet I have.. It has a 19 1/2 inch blade with 4 notches on the underside 2 inches from tip. at the base on one side I think it says artillary and the other side has the number 44543. If you have any information on this item I would apprciate it I have looked all over. What is the number represent?
