This is my recently acquired M1 bayonet right where it is supposed to be. On the end of a Springfield M1 Garand that belongs to a friend that inherited it from his father who served in the European Theatre during WW2. It looked really cool in place on the gun and shooting the gun was a blast. My twelve year old son pictured here especially loved shooting this rifle, he couldn't get enough!

Nice bayonet and great you know who actually carried it in WW2.

Your son does indeed look happy!
