The knife looks like an early post war issue.

You nneed to know what is stamped on the crossguard. If the word England is on it then it is a knife that was exported to the USA post WWII. One good clue here is the brown elastic on the scabbard, in my experiance this is a good indicator of a WWII scabbard. John.
