Thank's for the effort Kevin but no it is not the right one I have been able to dig up a little more information though and it is as I suspected these were manufactured as part of the lend lease act for England.
The U.S. M5 scabbard was made by Beckwith Manufacturing Co. of Dover, New Hampshire. Popularly known as the "Victory Plastics" scabbard, it was unique in design compared to all other No. 4 bayonet scabbards in having an integral web belt frog. These were supplied to the British under the Lend-Lease Act.
I have managed to find a better image though of the M5 scabbard and frog.

I might have a metal one somewhere , I know that I made a OSS type spike dagger out of one . I'll post it some time , turned out pretty good . I'll look around but it's been a few years since I saw it , but nothing military gets ever gets tossed out !
    Cheers

The Victory Plastic scabbards aren't as common as the Mk III, and when you do find one, it'll cost more than the rest. I found one at a local show, but it was missing the frog. I'm still looking for a complete one.

Thanks for the link Kevin !!!!
I was just at the web site I will Email them for some better pictures of the Bayonet, scabbard and frog.
And you are correct Pete I would say they were most probably produced in lower numbers compared to the other bayonets and scabbards .
