The only value to a piece like this would be for parts only.
for an Aulion marked blade, this would be a good handle.

What really surprises me is that nobody is interrested in the historic value of this ground dug piece.

There is value to all ground dug finds, i think this is a beauty and the chances of finding another groundug for sale is slim, definatly got value!
I agree with gibba, even though ground dug items are typically less than something thats in non ground dug condition, there is still a very large market for them
