For me it's about the thrill of the find. I've had a rare super successful month of estate/moving sales. I am happy to know I may have some rare items, that's always fun to learn!

I would have been going nuts on the drive home.

Most of these look like early custom pieces from
    the 70's and 80's - Congrats......... !
    Regards,

    Steve.

    Maaan, what a haul! Congrats.
Some of my favourite knives there.
When reading the title, I thought FS, but the scout type knife can easily stand on its own. A very nice knife.
I have a slew of Gerber MKII and really like that wooden handled Gerber, you got there. That will be well worth researching values of before selling, as itll be worth a pretty penny.
The Schrade looks like an old Schrade, from before the company name was sold and now only churns out cheap low quality knifes under the name of the old venerable Schrade name.
Plenty of collectors out there for several of the knives and willing to pay well for them
I know, that I would be happy, if I ever stumble over knives like that.

    I am very excited
So the Lile is the highlight knife, correct? It looks like it may have been sharpened though, I don't know.

The Gerbers will be worth quite a lot as a set, I would imagine.
If you sell, try not splitting them up at first, but sell as a set.
The Schrade is of typical Loveless design. Says so on the tang as well.
Loveless stands as one of the greatest and most esteemed US knife designers.
His hand in the lines of the old Schrade design is unmistakeble. What a beauty.

I would say so - but sharpening will effect the value
    of any of these knives.........

    Steve.

I think it has likely been sharpened. I suppose these knives
were for light use rather than being stored away in a
collectors case, and probably did not cost too
    much back in the day.........

That's a shame but I am still very happy to have been the one to find them

I think that's all of them, plus there are 4 or so more sheaths, not pictured, that I don't know which go with what knives. I got these knives and two boxes of arrowheads for $50 hiding in the basement of an estate sale last weekend. I love knives so I was super excited to find them! When the guy said $50 I couldn't say DEAL fast enough.
Did you kiss him before you left ?
