    Hi everyone, im trying to put together a little history of my family friends father and was wondering if anyone knows any history of 245 T company and where and what they were doing in 1916??

    I thought he was in 254 and 251 tunnelers companies?

    Hi guys,

    As a co-incidence, the only tunneller VC was in 254 AND came from my home town, William Hackett RE VC (posthumous)

    Have a look at the archives at the PRO and get a copy of the unit war diary, that should tell you most of what you want to know that exists in an accessible form.
