Article about: Just found this Corona typewriter, a folding type with a patent dating back to 1912. The last date on the back is 1917, but they seem to have been made to well into the '30's. Made in the US

    Just found this Corona typewriter, a folding type with a patent dating back to 1912. The last date on the back is 1917, but they seem to have been made to well into the '30's.
    Made in the US, and used by war correspondents.
    This machine was so practical that it was chosen by British Army in WWI.
    What are your thoughts on this item, and is it saelable?

    Its in really lovely condition and it is saleable to the right person.
    A nice period piece although not necessarily military imho.

    They're being advertised on ebay at anything between $150-$350 Buy It Now, but in reality are selling on bids at around $100. Then there's the postage.....
