    Hi Rene,
    Apart from the 12v conversion, the 7.50 x 16 tyres and the free wheeling hubs she was all 44 willys.
    .........not an 'F' stamp to be found!!!

    Thought this was interesting - I found an original 1942
    Canadian CDLV 505 data plate on-line: No. 155957
    is only one number away from mine.........!

    Added some new pics tonight with top on to this old thread and back onto the original post. Took a ride at dusk with running lights on. Beautiful night in MN for a ride. No bugs yet!

    LoL! My buddy in college has a 3 speed CJ5 with a chevy 350 V8. We used to wheelie down main street. Fun back then, but in my old age now...I would shake my head at those "annoying" kids if I saw it now...
