WOW! I wonder how that 251 w generator performed compared to the same vehicle on it's proper diesel engine.

The original 251's had petrol engines. The Czech postwar clone, the OT-810, had Tatra diesel engines.

If I remember correctly, they didn't perform quite as well, but were reasonably efficient enough.

Hi Joe, these vehicles were only really intended for use in the training schools, but come the end I guess everything was pushed to the frontline. Or the frontline came to them....
