Help Identify German Shell 1911

Hello All,

I have had this shell in my possession for quite sometime, It was found under my Omas house.

Markings on the bottom are Dusseldorf, RHMF 1911, Fried Krupp A.G.

The diameter at the bottom: 28 cm
The outside diameter: 25.2 cm
Length from bottom to top: 27.6 cm

Any Idea what this was fired from ?

Well it's an old WW1 shell casing, 1911 being the manufacture date. What are the smaller markings in the centre of the base ?

The smaller markings say Fried Krupp A.G. and opposite that is a number 12.
