I might follow in your footsteps Steve unless I find a m8 or m3 scoutcar
Well ironically today i found 2 m3 scout cars, 2 jeeps, a command car, a half track, a deuce and a half, and a weapons carrier, at an antique store. I got to talking with the guy and I mentioned my WWII hobby and he showed me his collection in his barns (of vehicles). Needless to say I was shocked, he told me to return in the summer and we could take them for a drive!!! I wish I had a camera on me at the time so I could have shared more with you gents!

Im afraid he has a Willies and a Ford GWP, I might have to get one if I do. (which one is better?) The Ford is 42 production and completely unrestored and still runs!!!

They are almost identical, but Ford Jeeps are not as common - more
expensive as well. I believe 'GPW' stands for 'Government Procured
vehicle-Willys pattern', or something to that effect.........

    Steve.
