Yeah, the big ground contact link for the King Tiger was getting near the limit of what I'd be happy to lift on my own, I must say!

Very nice Steve-how did you get them so clean? Wish my links looked that good.

To be honest, I buy them in like that from my supplier in Latvia. I'm not sure exactly what process they go through, but I would assume they are electrolysed, loose rust removed with wire brushes and then they're painted with a museum grade anti-rusting paint.

Hmmm, never thought about painting mine. I'd be interested to hear if anyone knows of what paint to use, or if they think it's a bad idea.

Well, bear in mind that they would have come out of the factory painted grey in the first place, so it's not an alien concept.

These are all very nice. Thanks for sharing them.

I have always fancied owning one of these.

    Cheers, Ade.

Wow, they all look terrific, I would love to own one! Would cost a lot to ship to Australia even if I was lucky enough to find one. Are they expensive?

Panzer tracks are easy enough to get hold of , many diggers sell them on flea bay , our own member Jevgenskiis sells them , pricves vary the ice cleats and RSO tracks can be quite cheap but Tiger tracks can go for up to 500 euros !!
