Sig 33 auf Pzkpfw 38 Grille recovered

Just done a search to see what happened to this vehicle. It was actually recovered from a lake in Austria. Now being restored at the Fahrzeugmuseum, Bad Ischl, Austria ...

... I've just found the thread and tell you a little update
... the Grille was found by divers in the river Enns near a little town named Weyer/E
... they've not started to begin the restoration cause it is not clear to whom this vehicle will belong - to the State of Austria or the divers ... so the Grille is only parking at the Museum at Bad Ischl

The river flow past Weyer and Ternberg into the town of Steyr, where large weapon factories, ball bearing works, etc. have been ... further north at Enns it flow into the Danube just oposite of Mauthausen

Main points to cross the Enns are at Weyer, Steyr and Enns ... this places have been points of interest in the last days of the III. Reich

I think so too !! it's always interersting to learn about locations such as this where a great find has been made.
