Looks great,
Where did you find them?
Jonathan.
Hi Jonathan
Thanks for the comment, I am very happy with the set.
The first two sections came from Latvia and the last piece from Estonia, all from three different sellers. The first and second via Ebay Germany and the third via the Wehrmacht Awards Forum, not cheap but worth it.

I don't blame you, they're fantastic.
Just spotted a couple of wheels in your pictures, are they from an SdKfz251?
Very nice.
Jonathan.
Hi Jonathan
Yes you are correct, the wheels are from a Sd.Kfz.251 or 11. You can see more pictures under the forum thread on 251 wheels, I have been collecting them for a couple of years now.
Also in the background of the last picture under the clear plastic sheet you can just see the rear of my Kettenkrad that I rebuilding.
Richard
Very cool! Makes me want to acquire some random piece from one of these great steel beasts my self Are you displaying these in any way?
Thanks for the kind comments. No not displaying them at the moment, I like to collect and restore parts then maybe put on display if I can find the room. I have more items I would like to display, but not the room to do so.
Hi Richard,
Good God!
That's all I can say!
Don't laugh, but I thought it was a sofa stored in your garage!
Some sofa! It's a Kettenkrad.
I am very impressed indeed.
I will go and find the pictures of your wheels.
Excellent Richard!
Jonathan.
Hi Jonathan
No I'm not laughing, it does look like a sofa from the rear. The attached picture was taken last May before I removed the bodywork to fit the engine. This year I hope to buy a complete fan unit, repro I'm afraid and fit it and other parts so the bodywork can go back on.
I do have a couple of other projects on the go but they are long term and take a back seat to the Kettenkrad, which still has a long way to go.
Richard
Hi Richard,
Wow, very impressive.
May I wish you all best in this and your other projects.
That's the best looking tracked sofa I or anyone else have ever seen!
Jonathan.
