StuG III Part

Article about: Hi Guys Thought I would share with you my first ever panzer part. It is the sight cover on the roof near the cupola, the arm that attaches to the sight is a little bent.

    Hi Guys

Well I have just about finished painting the inside of the armour. Once I had put it all together, I decided that the edges needed to be ivory as well. Will do them in a couple of days, a quick 10 minute job.

Then it is just a matter of finding the time to paint the top surface sand and build some kind of display stand.

    Hi Guys

Got this in the post this morning to compliment the roof armour, relic condition, may try and restore it if I can find some spare parts.

    Hi Guys

Well I finally managed to get the armour painted sand today, all I need to do now is build some kind of display stand. Also put the relic sight, roughly, in place to see what it looks like.

I am very happy with the way it has turned out, hope you enjoy the pictures.

Now you just have to find and build the rest of the tank.

Well done it looks fantastic, you must be over the moon the way it's turned out after all that hard work.

    Excellent work indeed!

    Hi Avenger

That would be very nice, but I have to finish the Kettenkrad first, then the 12cm mortar.

    Hi Paul D

I got mine via Ebay from a guy in Russia.

I am looking for parts so I can try and restore it. There was a seller at the War & Peace show, in England, last month with an excellent example, price was £400.00. He also had a Tiger I sight with transit box for £4000.
