StuG III Part

Article about: Hi Guys Thought I would share with you my first ever panzer part. It is the sight cover on the roof near the cupola, the arm that attaches to the sight is a little bent.

Mate, if you could use a hack saw on tank steel in that heat...you're welcome to anything you're able to chop off!...I had difficulties finishing a 99!

And if you look inside it will be painted ivory or dunkel gelb, but not red oxide. Breech may be painted green or dunkelgelb but not red.

OK I have gone and done it again, bought a couple more parts for the Stug.

This time an engine starter cover on the rear plate and one half of a hinge for the ventilator maintenance cover on the rear deck, the starter cover was a very good price. The other half of the hinge is on it's way as I type. I have to say that the starter cover is nearly or is the same weight as the idler hub cap, all solid steel.

In the words of that female pop singer, 'Oops I've done it again'.

One half of a front hatch, hinge and not complete handle arrived yesterday. To be honest I ordered these back in early June and thought it about time I paid for them. About 5 days shipping from Estonia and the price was nice.

Not much happening on this front.

Bought another half of the front hatch hinge and a rubber bump stop with mount for the chassis. This is mounted above the first and last swing arms, the rubber is in very good condition.

These are the "folding" shell racks Hillary Doyle describes in his video with The Chieftain on the Panzer IV?
