Some nice AFV there Rene, cheers mate.
Love the old Centurion in the back ground, the modified Universial with the 2 pounder is rather cool to.
As well as the haflinger(poxy spelling sorry).Their all cool mate.
Was very suprised when i came face to face with a Matilda Infantry Tank for the fist time, rather small machines for their application(funny that they were Infantry Tanks as the 2 pounder didn't have a HE round).
The 9th Divi Platty and rang on the other Universial was a nice sight,my grandfather was 9th Div. serving in New Guinea in 43' until malaria got him sent home in early 44'.
Have a good one Rene,
Cheers
Dave

Thanks for posting those pictures Rene`. That is the Matilda I was talking about. They have a Leopold tanks dotted around up here now and you see the odd Abrhma's on the roads. I shall get the camera out and try and get a couple of photos. Just went through Bonnie Doon and missed taking a photo of a German mortar (WW1) in the park. Thanks Mark
Hi Mark,
If you drive past the ww1 German mortar again a couple of images of her will be great.
I think the Matilda is a mk2.
Cheers
Dave
She fired all the standard rounds except CANISTER.Thats a disapointment.Just imaging the effects of that at close range, devastating.
Cheers
Dave
