Default WW2 German 88mm training load?

    Hello,
in summer I dug up a WW2 German artillery long metallic item wrapped in paper.
This item weights 10.840kg + paper weights about ~ 1kg.
This item is divided in two parts on the widest end its empty and on the closed part is filled with something heavy.
To compare , I put an artillery shell that was dug up on the same spot.
Does anybody have information about this item and how it originally looked like?
