    Hi ya,
IMHO its made in Great Britain. It does have the War Department arrow on it.
This one came from an auction, where did yours come from?

Hi, sorry for the late reply, I got my telescope from my neighbour, he got it at a fleamarket years back.

Hi Eddy, I have the 1942 manual for the 6prd A/T gun: it only mentions the No.22 C, Mark II. in my edition.

No idea on this one, sorry.

    Cheers, Ade.

    hi ade
i have the 6pdr a/t sight in my collection and it's actually quite small about an inch in dia and about a foot long whereas every single other sighting telescope i have is much larger and all pretty much the same size and shape. what made me think this was a bore sight, is that a 6 pdr shell is 57mm in dia so it would fit perfectly in the barrel. i collect sighting telescopes but unfortunately i'm no expert.
i have every ww2 british sighting telescope in my collection except the 2 pdr (no.24b) and the 25 pdr how (no.29) so if anyone reading this has these sights and wants to sell them please let me know.

    cheers

    eddy
