I noticed the best tool for the job was a original 1940s turn screw (screw driver). The best tool I have is almost identical and is far better at loosening tight screws than any modern screw driver.

Everyone I know that has old tools (40's, 50's, and some older!) swears by them as being much better than the modern ones.

I use that site called Freegle and Freecycle, I put a 'Wanted' advert in for old BSF/Whitworth spanners...I got an old bloke from Chorley give me two bags of old spanners, a couple of them genuine BSA toolkit spanners. I never thought for one min I'd get any. Well worth the 15 mile journey.

Well, Rick his friend Malik and I are on a roll at the moment. I emphasize Its not all me and I can say that the help has given the project a major boost. Fuel is in the tank, 15 gallon of oil is on its way and we will need a couple of gallon of Anti Freeze. then we twiddle our fingers waiting for the Spark to wire up Starter and Charging.

pete i'll come over on wednesday with the oil and another 75 litres of fuel and we'll get everything topped up and ready for the electrician to give us a nod, man it's gonna be good to hear that engine run !!!

Rick, I'd love to get it 'Sound Recorded' onto a memory stick with the loan of proper professional audio equipment and then stitch it to the video footage in Pinnacle Video studio. I doubt very much the microphone on my camera will do the engine justice.
