Hi Radek, it is certainly very distinctive with that home made petrol tank.
Where was the seller located?

Hi all, I've just come across this thread and I enquired about this Welbike and the seller said he was in Dundee? My friend lives in Dundee so I asked if he could go around and view it and then the emails stopped? Lucky me??

I don't remember who said it, but the guy here who asks the seller to put a dollar bill on top of the item..
...is a genius.
Shame it had so many modifications done to it ( fuel tank, handlebars, bike headstock, cut down & modded fork tube, etc.. ) all probably done by a minibike enthusiast back in the 60's ( I know - I was one back then )

I've seen this bike posted before somewhere, can't remember if it was for sale then but there were inquiries on it by the 'owner', or an interested party IIRC. I wonder if it was here?

Take a look at this, there is a code at the bottom that may help trace the guy selling it if you report it to Craigslist, assuming the scammer hasn't just lifted the pic's.
