Re: any one know what this is ?
its a 30mm bushmaster chain gun
same gun as the M2a2 M3a3 bradly but 30mm not 25mm like the bradly
strangely very slow rate of fire
about 1 round a sec
the portuges pandour 2 has a 30mm mauser strait auto that dose about 3 a sec

Re: any one know what this is ?
when i did the test fire (static ) creap ment 1 mabe 2 rounds on target
the rest went up or down take your pic
on battle run stabelized ( wheres the target) all over the f,in place
the frase barn door comes into mind
took us months to sort out the problems
the gun was to close to true balance
so the stabelizer gyros had nothing to fight against
we got it right just when they canceld
it was an israily remote weapon system
and they would not except that any thing was wrong
it took myself and the director a long time to get them to go with our ideas
but once they understood that the stabelizer has to be unstable to work (like chieftain or chally) then every thing worked out

Re: any one know what this is ?
Were these battle damaged or just worn out when you got them?
Thanks

Re: any one know what this is ?
one was battle damaged
the other 8 were just due re build
the battle damage was slight ,a cracked weld and a 13mm penetration on the drive train tunnel underneath
very easy to deal with we cut out and replaced the damaged areas
most battle damaged vehicles are usualy repaired in quatar or sent back to the states or destroyed completely
