    its not the best picture but how about this

    Oh Dear!...

    its a picture i found online

    the tank is not stuck in a river but in a crater filled with treacle that escaped when the sugar factory was shelled and all the sugar had melted and filled the sounding ground with a foot of treacle. when the tank crossed the crater it went crashing through the layer of hard sugar and got stuck

    Knocking out a battle tank by drowning it in treacle....not generally a tactic found in the combat manuals, I have to admit...
