Well I have just completed another tank and though I might share it with you guys.
I used to make models all through my younger years and teens, but got out of it when I just couldn't finish any of them anymore. I always made aircraft, mostly German, and the more interesting stuff usually. I started up again due to wanting a de-stress from my day job, plus wanted to see if I could still do it. I couldn't believe how many new products and techniques were out there so learning curve is kinda sharp. Still I like using some of them and they certainly add to the model.
So the tank I just finished is a Soviet KV-1, with Applique Armour. Its a Tamiya kit, 1/48 Scale with a metal cast bottom of the hull to give the kits some weight. I painted with Vallejo Model air paints, and weathered with Mig Abteilung oils. Finally dusted with pigments and some Tamiya weathers kits. What do you think?
So are there may others out there that build these? Feel free to start posting your kit photos in here, even any advice or reviews
