G'day All

I used to have a few Action men including the talking one with the movable eyes as a kid , the Jeep, SAS high altitude para with chute, Panzer officer, British 8th army soldier and others. All played with to death.
But I now have my vulgar talking Sgt Hartman

Brings back some memories........

A kid up the street had about 6 or 8 Joes back in the 60's, with
all the kit, liferaft, etc. There were some bearded Joes, I think........

My folks didn't want to lay out the cash for a genuine GI Joe.
Instead, they bought me a MARX "Stoney 'Stonewall' Smith"
with moulded green uniform/body.

Same deal as above, when I went to visit my late mother 12 years
or so ago, she handed me an old shoe box with 'Stoney'
and bits of gear in it.

And, yes, 'Kilroy' Steve, there were some GRENADES in there too !

I used to have the German panzer outfit. I bought it at an antique & collectible toy show back in the mid 90's. This was when I first discovered the Palitoy Action Man stuff. I wish I still had it...
