Italian Air Force P38 and P51

Morning everyone,
here are two other my old models in 1:48 scale which go back to my youth!, I built them many years ago to expose them during an air show organized by an Italian Air Force Unit.
I to tell the story of "3° Stormo" realized two US fighters that I particularly like:
P38 J Lightning
P51 D Mustang
used by this Unit after the war in late '40s.
I used some modest basic models kit and later modified them extensively, for example: virtually rebuilt interior and R.R. Merlin engine, and also cut and rebuilt the compartment of machine guns cal 50.
The details of exterior painting and heraldry I have recovered them studying pictures of the time.
