Tom, outstanding work mate You have a real talent and an eye for detail!

I have about 30 luftwaffe 1:72 aircraft but I needed the garage space and they are sadly now boxed in the attic!

Once my kids have left home I am going to start again, I miss it a lot

    Thanks Nick.
I know what you mean. I build furniture, yet have been unable to find time to build myself another display cabinet to house the rest of my "new" builds.
One of the reasons for the long hiatus. I have a load of kits that still need building too, one day....
Hope you get your modeling off the ground again.

Good stuff there! I particularly like the Crusader and the wicked paint job on the Hetzer. I'm no good at aircraft: you can't cover up your mistakes with a blob of mud like you can with AFVs!

Excellent work Tom! You have talent! I particularly like th PzKpfw in the snow, how did you achieve the snow effect? Bi-carb/baking soda?

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Yes, that's what was used for the snow. Looks pretty convincing.

Made a mixture of fine dirt, dark brown acrylic paint and wood glue, applied liberally with a brush. Reason I actually decided on this route was the fact that the kit was an old Airfix which still made use of the old vinyl tracks. They have no inside detail, so covering them with "mud" was a way to mask the crappy tracks.
