    Hi Raymond,
I have seen this simple piognant sight in so many films and pictures
and thought nothing of it. But as you have captured it here it takes on a different meaning, it reflects a point in time that cannot and must not be repeated. Your artistic talant is outstanding.

Thank you to you all for your kind words and incouragement , i do realy apprecate it , if fellow collectors get injoyment and a sence of what i have tried to achive in the piece i am happy .
To my friends that asked about the materails used to make this piece , the helmet is a 1/6 Action Figure helmet , the base is Rimu a native timber here in New Zealand , the sand of course from the famous beach , i put a layer of clue on the base to the shape i wanted , then added the sand , i then sprayed the sand with a clear satin laque, this holds all the sand in place when it dries .I punched a hole threw the helmet with a punch to get the bullet hole then clued the helmet to the base . The sea is a resien , a to piece mix, you can purchase at most hobby shops , its a clear mix but i used a white water base paint to get the foaming look to the sea .
Many thanks again guys , cheers Raymond
