Tamiya WW 1 British Tank Mk.IV Male 1:35 Scale build
I have a question for all you modellers out there ,
"Synthetic rubber cement"
as Tamiya call it? I'm currently building my WW1 MK IV (MALE) Tank and require some of this,
it's to bond plastic to metal ? but you must be able to remove the bonded part if required ie to remove the , drive sprocket covers to undo the screws in the center of the sprockets.
As I live in the U.K the E.U in their infinite wisdom!,
have banned the import of certain Tamiya products due to their chemical make up?
until Tamiya change the products compounds!
can anyone suggest a substitute?
ive heard some stuff called "threadlock" is ok ?
this is the first "Tamiya" tank ive tried,
and although its a bit fiddley (tiny screws) a bit of blue tack on the screwdriver tip helps ,
I must say the parts are crisp and sharp,
and fit excellently ,
and there is no flashing , on the parts or sprues either,,
well worth the money
