    Hello Tony,
I am interested in reading General Rayski's memoirs (if it is written in English and not in Polish).
Please indicate the name of the book and may be the Editor.
    Thanks.

    Hi Kublai,

The memoirs are in English. They remain unpublished. I am fortunate to have access to General Rayski’s original typewritten manuscript.

    Regards,
    Tony

After much agonizing soul searching I’ve relented. I suppose there’s no better time than the present. So here you go Brandon . . .

    Hello Tony,
Thanks for your answer. It is a pity that it was never published.
I suppose it is private and not intended for the general public.
    Kind regards.

    Hi kublai,

Not yet anyway. It has moved between private collections and is something that landed in my lap rather unexpectedly and only just recently. Thus far I have not given any real thought about its future other than trying to get the free time to read it through.

    Regards,
    Tony

    Hello Tony,
If ever it is published, or if it possible to have the memoirs photocopied (in case there are not too many pages) I am interested and prepared to pay a fair price.
Thanks for your help and best regards.

    Hi again kublai,

The entire matter is on the back burner at present. But rest assured that once time permits I will be giving some consideration whether to undertake a publishing venture or to simply pass into the hands of another collector. As far as page count, I haven’t counted but there are many. Likely something over 100.

    Regards,
    Tony

    Hello Tony,

I am also interested in buying it, if it came up for sale.

Did General Rayski publish any other books in his lifetime ?

Does it reveal important revelations that are not known until now ?

From what I have heard about General Rayski's character it should be extremely revealing.

I would be equally interested if it was published, to see a copy.

    Thank You

Guys, take it from a publisher, having possesion of an original manuscript doesn't in fact automatically confer copyright ownership to the possesor. Copyright, depending on juristication of the author's country of residence, can be as much as the life of the author plus 75 years—being passed on to author's heirs or legal successors after author's death. One would need to go back and trace the author's original will or probate settlement if there was no formal will and work through to present to establish legal transfer of authors' copyright throughout.

It is imperitive that you should seek legal advice from a specialist Copyright/IP lawyer before "publishing" or distributing any part of the manuscript whether in print or online before copyright ownership is legally established and confirmed.
