Beautiful set
Beautiful set
Many thanks Mariusz. I feel quite fortunate to have landed that holster. Without intentionally sounding boastful, it really is a beauty. There was a time I thought I’d never find one, no matter what the condition.
A couple of pics to add showing the ink maker’s mark. It was a Warsaw based leather goods producer, the name of which escapes me at the moment.
Cheers,
T.
Hey Tony,
I have a stamp like that on my wz.24 universal bayonet frog, but mine was marked Poznan in the middle. Its interesting to see the stamp in purple ink as most pre-war stamps were in black or red ink.
P.s Nice holster,The designs of pre-war ones are much better then the design of the German produced holsters.
