Here is my Brother's new acquisition. Virtuti Militari belonging to General Kazimierz Orlik Lukowski murdered in Charkow in 1940.
Super rare set. Before I was able to get my brother to take pictures of the back of the Cross he had it mounted under glass.....
But it is the Polish Government issue Cross number 5262.

Tom, thanks for sharing this historically important pairing. It's wonderful to see the award diploma and matching cross – such a rarity, especially with a senior officer grouping of this stature. And quite amazing that such a set surfaced on the market. Congratulations to your brother for pouncing on it. He was wise to seize the opportunity.
